The current focus is simple....to provide their customers with superior products and excellence in service along with merchandising environments that translate the unique personalities of the brand. Wayne McGee, along with his wife, Jenny Lynn, established The McGee Group in 1976 as an optical distributor. By the end of 1979, the company had evolved into the largest independent optical distributor in North America. The company's focus in the 70s, 80s, and 90s was to distribute unique names and designer brands. In 1998, The McGee Group started to focus more on developing their own brands. Today, the company has evolved into a major marketing and frame design company.
