Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary 

The Digital Marketing Specialist must be a dynamic individual who is passionate about digital marketing. This individual will be responsible for executing editorial strategies, managing multi-channel content campaigns, and optimizing digital efficiency through streamlined processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content marketing tactics across multiple social media channels
  • Manage and track projects from start to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, and quality standards are upheld
  • Contribute to blog content, write social copy, and design slide decks as needed
  • Schedule, manage, and track social content, ensuring technical quality requirements are met
  • Oversee social media community outreach and management, including Pinterest board management
  • Create, manage and optimize social media advertising campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and more
  • Lead automation processes and create efficiencies through macros and workflows
  • Ensure content quality control, managing and reviewing creative and strategic work
  • Manage client tagging, UTM code creation and tracking to support digital campaigns
  • Curate industry news and trends, contributing to strategic insights for the team
  • Manage certification plans for continual professional growth (e.g., Google, HubSpot)
  • Assist team members when needed to maintain smooth project completion

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing communications, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing or project management, with a focus on social media
  • Previous advertising agency experience preferred
  • Experience working in the Home Goods or Interior Design verticals a plus

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

  • Strong Macintosh skills
  • High-level Google Analytics reporting and utilization of Google Tag Manager
  • Proficient in Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager, and other media self-serve platforms
  • Fundamental knowledge of digital marketing strategies
  • Experience in building and executing editorial strategies, especially in multi-channel content
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, scheduling tools, and high-level reporting tools
  • Knowledge of social media and editorial scheduling software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong penchant for quality control and adherence to brand standards
  • Technical savvy, with experience in creating efficient processes and automation
  • Strong content creation, scheduling, and copywriting/copy editing experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Proven track record executing multiple projects with various timelines
