The following is small excerpt of the more extensive brand-DNA work that Britton Marketing & Design Group gathered and documented for the Jude Connally team. We started by conducting internal research and external primary-customer research to create a data-informed foundation. By absorbing the data and listening to Jude Connally and the organization talk about the vision behind the brand (what it is and, more importantly, what it is not) we were able to truly understand and put a frame around the brand’s most prized attributes.
The deliverable—a graphically exciting, easy-to-understand document—begins with an inspirational rallying cry to set the tone and then establishes the why, what, and how. We answered those categories by developing brand pillars, identifying prioritized audiences and their values, and so on. We then worked further to create a messaging matrix by audience and visual/copy guides that highlight how to communicate these brand truths effectively.
Now the organization can drive brand marketing ongoing, standing out clearly from the competition, with a consistent voice that tells the why behind that special story of Jude Connally. It’s a surprising, positive, joyful brand, and it continually reinforces the what and how of a brand that uniquely supports women, making their lives easier with clothing that is always easy to wear and care for.

A brand DNA guide can be a really beautiful thing. For Jude, it can now be that organizing, go-to guide for all things Jude Connally. It’s a practical, easy-to-use, living document that can be reviewed and edited annually, if needed, as the brand evolves consistently and powerfully.
